Celebrating collective impact across west Michigan's talent councils

West Michigan Works! brought together all six of west Michigan’s talent councils in an annual celebration event to highlight a year of impactful work in career awareness, talent attraction and retention, and workforce training.

With the support of engaged funders and partners, the councils — Agribusiness, Construction Careers, Discover Manufacturing, Health Careers, and Tech Talent — shared their accomplishments and drew inspiration from one another’s efforts. Their collective work has strengthened the region’s talent pipeline and expanded opportunities for job seekers, incumbent workers and employers alike.

Thanks to strategic input and financial support from partners including Employer-Led Collaboratives grants from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, the councils are entering a new year of programming with momentum and a shared commitment of preparing Michigan’s workforce for the future.
