The Rural Development Fund Board, housed in the Office of Rural Prosperity, has oversight of the Rural Development Fund. The Board is charged with advising the Office on how to distribute tax revenue collected from mines to improve and strengthen local communities. Director is a voting member and makes final decision on projects (Public Act 411 of 2012).

For LaFontaine Automotive Group, training made possible thanks to the Going PRO Talent Fund has been invaluable. The funds have allowed LaFontaine Automotive Group to recruit, train and provide an amazing platform for career and personal growth for their employees.
“As a Service Manager, we have seen an increase in production, job satisfaction and overall shop morale through the training program,” shared Jason LaMirand, Career Development & Talent Acquisitions-Fixed Operations. “When our senior employees take on trainees, they are at their best, teaching and mentoring on what has made them successful within the organization.”
Each trainee is put on a career progression path showing them what is expected at each level to help get them to where they want to be. This clear-cut path, coupled with consistent reviews and frequent advancement opportunities has led to overall success of promoting from within.
