Around the Table is a newsletter produced by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's Food and Dairy Division to share important regulatory updates and program information with the state's licensed food establishments. The newsletter offers important information on Michigan's Food Law, which was enacted to modernize, standardize and consolidate Michigan's food laws while adopting the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Food Code as a uniform regulatory standard for retail food establishments. Around the Table is distributed to licensed grocery and convenience stores, restaurants, and other foodservice facilities.
