The Seed Potato Advisory Committee was created in Public Act 94 of 2018 - Seed Potato Act. The five-member committee was created to advise the director in establishing rules, recommend whether to grant permission to plant uncertified seed potatoes, and to consult with the director on the administration and enforcement of this act. Subsequent to the development of PA 94, the committee also developed Regulation 629 to provide further detail on the administration and enforcement of this act.
