Food Protection Task Force

The Michigan Food Protection Task Force is a collaborative group of individuals from regulatory, industry, academia, and consumer groups with the overall goal of enhancing outreach, response, integration, and information sharing. In partnership with FDA, the state of Michigan hosts annual Food Safety Alliance Meetings which aim to foster communication, cooperation, and collaboration with industry and regulatory partners to provide a forum for all stakeholders to openly communicate about the food protection system, develop and share resources, identify potential vulnerabilities in our food supply, bolster our ability to respond more rapidly to foodborne outbreaks, and much more.
