According to the Grow Your Own and Educator Development Program Competitive Grants under MCL 388.1627b, the Michigan Department of Education is required to ensure that all performance reports mandated under subsection three are made publicly available. These reports must be posted on the department’s official website so that stakeholders and the public can access information regarding the program’s outcomes and accountability measures.
Subsection three further specifies that the reports must include several key elements: the number of program participants served and their retention within the program or district, qualitative and quantitative feedback from participants, and evidence demonstrating the program’s efficacy as well as progress toward the projected outcomes.
The grant application window was open from February 2, 2026, to March 3, 2026. The eighty-nine submitted applications are currently under review. There are no performance reports to publish at this time.
