Darnishia Morris

Dr. Darnishia Morris is a proud Detroiter turned Yooper; she currently serves as the Assistant Dean of the Pavlis Honors College at Michigan Technological University. Since her first international trip to Finland in 1997 she has studied, traveled and performed community service in over 25 countries. In addition to her love of the international community, Darnishia is called to serve young people. For over 20 years she has worked to encourage, support, and guide students on their career path to responsible adulthood--expectant and confident that they will change the world! She has worked for organizations such as Up with People, Boys and Girls Republic, and Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. Darnishia holds a Ph.D. in Applied Cognitive Science and Human Factors from Michigan Tech, a Master of Science in Management from Walsh College, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Michigan Tech.
