Bon Jovi Tour Spreads National Call to Service in Michigan March 17
At each venue, Bon Jovi will feature a concert video asking Americans to join together to use their passion to tackle the country's toughest challenges through United We Serve, the President's national call to service. A viewing will occur at the Wednesday, March 17 concert to be held at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan.
Jon Bon Jovi has also filmed a 60-second television public service announcement to be distributed to broadcast stations nationally and used in online promotions. You may view both videos at www.serve.gov.
United We Serve was launched last summer by the President to encourage Americans to engage in sustained, meaningful community service to help meet national priorities.
Bon Jovi, a longtime service advocate and philanthropist, has also invited local volunteers with nonprofit organizations and members of the Corporation for National and Community Service's programs to distribute information on United We Serve and The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation at booths inside concert venues in select cities. Look for those booths at the March 17 concert in Michigan.
