BEAD Locations
Michigan has eligible BEAD locations in all 83 counties across the entire state. As described in Michigan’s BEAD subgrant process, MIHI has divided the state into hexbins that will be used for BEAD project design during the Benefit of the Bargain round. Applicants will design their projects by selecting one or more hexes. Applicants will also have the opportunity to designate “outlier locations” within these hexes that will be excluded from their Project Application.
Michigan's BEAD Program uses the FCC CostQuest Fabric Version 3 as of 2/7/24. Information on obtaining the CostQuest fabric can be found at NTIA Tier D License Request.
