Rural Readiness Network
Rural Readiness Network
Rural communities get things done by working together.
The Office of Rural Prosperity supports communities as they advance their priorities through the Rural Readiness Network. The Rural Readiness Network creates opportunities for tax-exempt rural serving organizations to access curated resources, topical roundtables and learning circles, networking events and direct project support that build community capacity.
Your work matters.
The activities of the Rural Readiness Network are guided by the needs of rural communities. We focus on the topics that you tell us are most pressing for you right now and will prepare you for the future you’re shaping.
We want to hear from you!
Tell us about your projects, opportunities, and challenges – and we’ll help connect you with resources. You can reach out to LEO-ORP@michigan.gov or tell us a bit about yourself with a short introduction form and we’ll follow up.
What does it mean to be in the Rural Readiness Network?
It means you’ll be contributing to Michigan’s understanding of rural realities by sharing your experiences. You’ll be invited to participate in virtual and in-person events that support projects and address challenges and you’ll have access to the Rural Resource Hub, an online platform hosting up-to-date funding opportunities, project templates and opportunities for discussion. Plus, you’ll have extra eyes and ears identifying resources and making connections that advance your priorities.
