Registered Apprenticeship Group Sponsors

*Group Sponsor (Intermediary)

An entity that serves as a Group Sponsor (Intermediary) for Registered Apprenticeship Programs provides the employers they work with customized program support. Registered Apprenticeship Group Sponsors are experienced in the following:

• Identifying existing models for the employer’s occupation(s) of interest
• Connecting employers with available State and Federal Grants
• Developing the employers On-the-Job Learning and education outline based on the employers’ needs
• Submitting the employer’s registration paperwork to the US DOL Office of Apprenticeship for full recognition in the National Registered Apprenticeship System
• Handle all the administrative tasks for the length of an employer’s program
• Assist the employer with program updates as the employer’s workforce needs evolve
• Promote the employer’s program and assist with recruitment as needed

Additionally, support is provided to employers who want to hold their own USDOL OA standards.
