Dr. Felicia Wu


Dr. Felicia Wu, of Okemos, is a John A. Hannah distinguished professor at Michigan State University, working in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition and the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics. She holds an A.B. and S.M. in Applied Mathematics & Medical Sciences from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a widely recognized expert in food science, serving on the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) Scientific Advisory Committee on Livestock Food Security and Nutrition and the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) of the FAO and World Health Organization. Professor Wu is appointed to represent Independents, for a term commencing March 14, 2023 and expiring December 31, 2026.
