Description:
Join the Lapeer Conservation District (LCD) on September 8th from 10-1 (registration opening at 9:30) at Ankleys Family Farm. This Field Day will feature wonderful presentations from MSU Extension, Pheasants Forever, and your local NRCS affiliate staff and Conservation technicians. Main topics will be:
- Cut-Flower Farming
- Pollinator Habitat
- Vegetable Pest Management
- NRCS Conservation Programs
- MDARD Regenerative Agriculture
- MAEAP
We will also have personnel from MDNR there to showcase and answer questions about the no-till drill that can be rented from the Conservation District. Lunch will be provided and a couple of lucky attendees will win a free jar of Cut-Flowers! The farm stand will be open after the event from 1-3pm as well.
