Mason Lake Conservation District Farm Field Day Summer 2026
Join the Mason-Lake Conservation District for an event featuring a variety of speakers who will present on topics related to regenerative agriculture and services offered by conservation districts. It will provide an overview of the MAEAP program, with an emphasis on the Forest, Wetlands, and Habitat system of MAEAP verification.
Additionally, it will feature a tour of an NRCS-funded pesticide storage/mixing facility that highlights multiple construction features that are designed to contain potential chemical and provide a safe and clean environment for chemical mixing and loading. Lastly, it will feature two guest presenters who will give an overview of the chemical benefits of biochar application in orchard systems, as well as a demonstration on how to produce biochar using orchard debris.
