Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Certification for Michigan Apple Cider Producers
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) have been developed for manufacturers of both fresh and treated apple cider in Michigan to assure that cider produced in our state is safe and of the highest quality. Michigan law also requires every Michigan cider mill to have a certified food safety specialist as an active staff member.
