How can I renew my snowmobile decal?

What do I need to renew a snowmobile decal? (Choose tab)

  • Snowmobile decal number 
  • Last four digits of the snowmobile serial number. 
  • $30 fee plus additional credit or debit card processing fee.

Go to Online Services

  • Renewal notice, return envelope, and Check or Money Order payable to State of Michigan for $30, or 
  • Mail the payment with a letter containing:   
  • First, middle, and last name 
  • Driver’s license/ID number 
  • Snowmobile decal number 
  • Address and alternative mailing address, if applicable 
  • Phone number 
     
    Mail everything to: 

    Michigan Department of State 
    Internal Services Section 
    7064 Crowner Drive 
    Lansing, MI 48918 
  • Renewal notice or snowmobile decal number 
  • Last four digits of snowmobile serial number 
  • $30 fee plus additional credit or debit card processing fee. A $4.25 service fee for each self-service station transaction, or cash at specific locations. 
  • Decal will be mailed to you.

Find a self-service station

  • Renewal notice, snowmobile registration or decal number 
  • Driver’s license or ID 
  • Payment for the $30 fee with cash, check, money order, or credit or debit card (additional fees apply)
