Dondre Young joins AmeriCorps team
Dondré Young joins the AmeriCorps team as an AmeriCorps program officer. Young hails from Flint and saw the value of AmeriCorps members making an impact in his hometown. He previously worked with the Michigan League of Conservation Voters and the C.S. Mott Foundation.

Experience: Former policy assistant and lobbyist for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, and former Program Assistant on the environment team at the C.S. Mott Foundation.
Why I want to be involved in AmeriCorps: I want to be a part of the MCSC and AmeriCorps because I have experienced the full value of having members deployed and serving in my hometown, Flint. This role will allow me to explore opportunities to improve the AmeriCorps experience for members and communities throughout the state of Michigan.
