Public Access Computers
Libraries have long served as primary centers of public access. While the priority should remain on home connectivity and helping residents get devices that connect to the internet, public access computers are still essential for people who don’t have home computers and/or home internet. Not all households will be able to get the speed of internet access they need for essential use and/or to meet the needs of all the members of the households. Public access computers can also be provided at mobile computer labs, workforce development centers, senior centers, after school centers and places of worship.
