MiUI Minute: Issue Six
October 10, 2025
Two important documents are available to support your transition to MiUI. In this issue of the MiUI Minute, you’ll find information on the What Stops in MiWAM and When schedule and the MiWAM-related actions listed in the Employer Checklist that you should complete in preparation for Go Live.
MiWAM Updates in Preparation for MiUI
What Stops in MiWAM and When
Between November 7 and December 5, actions in MiWAM will begin to be phased out in preparation for the launch of MiUI. These actions include eRegistration, business transfers, and applications for seasonal employers. This schedule lists when services will become unavailable in MiWAM and what to do between that date and the launch of MiUI.
Please review the schedule to learn how, when, and where certain unemployment insurance tasks need to be performed.
MiWAM Actions
Employers and third-party administrators (TPAs) must complete several actions in MiWAM before the MiUI system launch:
- Confirm you have an Employer MiWAM account.
- Review and confirm your MiWAM employer account details:
- Contact information – Address, Phone Number, etc.
- Payment methods.
- Permissions of authorized users.
- Confirm the Employer or TPA account administrators.
For more information about other actions to take each month in preparation for MiUI, please reference and save the Employer Checklist to guide your transition to MiUI.
Reminder: MiUI activation codes will be accessed through MiWAM.
