MiUI Minute: Issue 16
January 20, 2026
The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) is transitioning to a new tax and benefits system called MiUI, which will replace the current Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM). In this issue of the MiUI Minute, we’re providing guidance on Generating Client Rate Reports.
How Third-Party Administrators Can Generate Client Rate Reports
In MiUI, third-party administrators (TPAs) will be able to view and download rate files for the employers they service. This is a handy way to consolidate key information for easy access and reference.
At MiUI University, you'll find a quick step-by-step guide on how to view the information you need to best serve your clients. The detailed guide, which includes visual aids, explains how to view associated employers, search client rates, and create a client rate report. The client rate report provides information about the TPA's identification, date, rate year, employer account number, rate, and taxable wage base (TWB).
TPAs will be able to search for client rates to Generate Client Reports from the left-hand navigation of MiUI, as shown in the image below.

Click on the button below to access the step-by-step "View Employer and Associated Rates" guide.
