MiUI Minute: Issue 32

The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) is transitioning to a new tax and benefits system called MiUI, which will replace the current Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM). MiUI is being launched in two parts, with Tax functions now live, and Benefits functions coming in summer 2026.

In this issue of the MiUI Minute, we’re providing a reminder of MiUI support resources.

Support Resources Available to You

As you continue to get familiar with the new MiUI system — or if you have still not activated your account — we want to make sure you’re set up for success. To support you along the way, we’ve provided an in-depth library of resources designed to help answer questions, build confidence, and assist you as you transition to MiUI. Keep reading to see what’s available and where you can find it whenever you need additional support.

MiUI University is Your One-Stop-Shop  

MiUI University is the single best site for all things related to MiUI: Michigan.gov/MiUIUniversity.
