Lansing, MICH.— The Michigan State Housing Development Authority Board today approved a change in leadership, thanking Executive Director Earl Poleski for his service since 2017.
The Board also appointed Gary Heidel as acting executive director of MSHDA, effective Friday, March 29, until a permanent director is named. Most recently, Heidel has served as chief housing investment officer. He has been with MSHDA since 1986 and previously served as director from 2010 to 2012.
The Board stated it looks forward to working with Heidel and all MSHDA staff to continue its mission of creating and preserving safe and decent affordable housing for Michigan citizens.
