Producer Security & Craft Beverage Assistant
Madison is the Office Assistant for the Producer Security Team within the Agricultural Development Division at Michigan Department of Agricultural & Rural Development. Madison joined MDARD in 2022, previously working for Michigan Department of State – Department of State Information Center.
Madison grew up as the fifth generation on her family’s large dairy farm in Elsie, Michigan’s dairy capital! She grew up primarily showing beef cattle at the local, state, and national level; dairy cattle at the local & state level; hogs at the local & state level; and horses at the local & state level. She participated in 4-H for many years and enjoys promoting agriculture to the youth.
She attended Michigan State University’s Institute of Agriculture Technology for Dairy Management, also participating in MSU Dairy Club & MSU Block & Bridle; then went on to attend Baker College receiving an Associates of Applied Science in Agriculture Technology and Agribusiness.
