Workforce Development Plan 2024 Report cover on a light blue background

Michigan’s first public, all-access strategy to build on workforce momentum

The Michigan Statewide Workforce Plan serves as the first public, all-access strategy to build on Michigan’s workforce momentum by addressing challenges and opportunities facing our state. The plan outlines a collaborative vision where state departments and external partners work together to achieve ambitious goals to increase skills and degree attainment, expand opportunity to grow the middle class, and enable business growth.

The Statewide Workforce Plan aims to unlock the full potential of Michigan’s workforce and create new opportunities where individual and business can make it in Michigan.

Continuing Michigan’s Economic Growth and Prosperity

MWDB Labor Market Outcomes Framework Resolution
Resolution for the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (“the Department”), with partnership from other state agencies where needed, and particularly the Michigan Center for Data and Analytics, shall create a framework for understanding and communicating the labor market outcomes of post-secondary credentials, including certificates, certifications, and degrees, offered by education and training providers in Michigan.

Mental Health
