If your reinstatement fee is eligible to be paid online, you will need to:
- Go to Online Services.
- In the “Driver’s License and ID” section, select “More Driver Services.”
- Follow the prompts to create or login to your account.
- In the “Operator License” section, select “More” then select “Pay Reinstatement Fee.”
- Follow the prompts and pay with credit or debit card (additional fees will apply) or e-check/bank account number.
If your reinstatement fee is eligible to be paid by mail, you will need to:
- Print the driver's license reinstatement application. You can type your information into the form and print it, or you can print the application and complete it by hand.
- Mail or fax the completed application to the address or fax number listed on the bottom of the form with payment:
- Mail – Payment may be made by check or money order payable to the “State of Michigan” or credit or debit card (additional fees will apply).
- Fax – Payment may be made by credit or debit card (additional fees will apply).
This transaction isn't available at self-service stations.
To pay your reinstatement fee at one of our offices, you will need:
- Your driver’s license or ID.
- Payment by cash, check, money order, or credit or debit card (additional fees will apply).
