Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson today announced the Secretary of State Mobile Office will visit the William P. Faust Public Library of Westland on Friday, May 17.
The Mobile Office will be open from noon to 4 p.m. at 6123 Central City Parkway.
The Mobile Office offers all the services available at a regular office. Visitors can renew their license plate tabs and driver’s licenses, register to vote, change their address and sign up on the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.
Visitors also can learn more about REAL ID and apply for a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or state ID card. Beginning Oct. 1, 2020, you will need a REAL ID-compliant document to fly within the United States and enter certain federal facilities, military bases and nuclear power plants. The bipartisan Board of State Canvassers today voted unanimously to certify Michigan’s 2024 General Election results. Prior to today’s state canvassers' meeting, bipartisan canvassing boards in each of Michigan’s 83 counties certified the election results in their jurisdictions before the legal deadline.
