Department of State takes action against Harper Woods dealership

HARPER WOODS - The Michigan Department of State (MDOS) has served a summary suspension and revocation complaint on a Harper Woods dealer for imminent harm to the public.
Reasonable Rides, owned by Toryiano Richardson and located at 19240 Kelly Road, has been summarily suspended for imminent harm to consumers. The dealer has continuously failed to apply for title and registration in the purchaser's name within 15 days as required by the Michigan Vehicle Code, improperly completed applications for title and registration, submitted improper sales tax to MDOS and committed fraudulent acts by underreporting the sales price of a vehicle.
The department will seek revocation of the dealer's license at an administrative hearing.
