Department of State takes action against Detroit dealership
April 26, 2022
DETROIT – The Michigan Department of State (MDOS) has served a summary suspension on a Detroit vehicle dealer for imminent threat to the public health, safety or welfare.
DXX Enterprise, also doing business as Pinnacle Auto Sales and located at 13400 Gratiot Ave, has been summarily suspended for imminent harm to consumers. DXX Enterprise is owned by Benson Oghoufo (licensee).
The summary suspension and revocation complaint establishes continual failure by the dealer to apply for title and registration in the purchaser's name as required by the Michigan Vehicle Code, improper application for title and registration, improper sales tax submitted to the Secretary of State, and fraudulent acts in connection with selling or otherwise dealing in vehicles. The licensee continues to violate the Code, after previous administrative action taken by MDOS.
The dealership was served with the summary suspension on April 18.
Consumers who have a complaint against DXX Enterprise are encouraged to call the Office of Investigative Services automotive complaint line at 517-335-1410.
