LANSING, Mich. – Secretary of State branch offices will open at 10 a.m. EST on Thursdays starting Nov. 5 to allow staff to participate in weekly training and professional development.
Branch offices will remain open until 5 p.m. on Thursdays. Regular hours on the other weekdays will not change with most offices open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Some offices in less populated areas do not offer Thursday hours and will not be impacted. Those include:

With one week left until General Election Day, Nov. 3, a total of 1,392,170 Michigan voters have already cast their ballot – a turnout rate of 18.8% of all active registered voters in the state.
The Secretary of State office at 3616 US-41 in Mohawk will transition from a one-day-a-week service on Thursdays to Tuesdays starting Nov. 10.
Starting tomorrow, Michigan voters can cast their ballot for the Nov. 3 General Election in person at their early voting site.
