Help us protect the dune system and threatened Pitcher’s thistle by removing spotted knapweed! This sun-loving plant will crowd out our native flora if left unchecked. Volunteers will focus on pulling plants from the critical area near the threatened native plant.

Long-sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.

Register by emailing Tyler Lidgard at LidgardT@Michigan.gov.

For more information, visit the Volunteer stewardship webpage.

A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks.

Please note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the park to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.
