Visitor centers
Visitor centers
We have 12 visitor centers, located at state parks and fish hatcheries across the state, hosting fun and educational nature exhibits with access to nearby trails.
For those that seek a more engaging educational experience, each visitor center has professional interpreters who lead nature-oriented programs. It is a great place to take your class on a field trip, or to take your family to learn more about Michigan's natural resources. Visitor centers host nature exhibits and have access to nearby trails, archery, fishing and more.
In the summer we also offer programs at dozens of other parks. Learn more about our Explorer Guide led programs.
