Orders
The DNR and the Michigan Natural Resources Commission issue a variety of orders aimed at managing and protecting Michigan's natural resources. Such orders might include hunting, fishing and trapping regulations, signage at shooting preserves, possession of invasive species and use of state-managed public lands.
The DNR director and the commission issue orders under authority granted by the Natural Resources and Environment Protection Act, PA 451 of 1994, as amended.
