The Department of Natural Resources Barry County and Echo Point shooting ranges will be closed for maintenance work the following days.
Barry County: Tuesdays, Sept. 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26; and Dec. 3 and 10.
Echo Point: Thursdays, Sept. 19 and 26; Oct. 3, 10, 24 and 31; and Nov. 7, 14 and 21. Wednesdays, Oct. 16; Nov. 27; and Dec. 5 and 12.
Within Barry State Game Area
Rutland Township, on Chief Noonday Road/M-179, approximately 0.8 miles west of South Whitmore Road
Mid-April through September: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
October through mid-December: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Mid-December through mid-April: closed for the season
Visitors need to bring their own targets.
