Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board

The Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board was created under Article 24 of 1980 PA 299, as amended, to license and regulate persons engaged in the construction of a residential structure or combination residential and commercial structure, or persons who undertake the repair, alteration, addition, subtraction or improvement of a residential structure or combination residential and commercial structure for compensation other than wages for personal labor.

Requests to appear before the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board (including completed documentation and applicable fee) must be submitted at least 35 days prior to the meeting date. Meeting dates, times, and locations are subject to change.

All meetings will be held at 611 W. Ottawa Street, Lansing, MI 48933.
