How to Register for an Account in MiCLEAR

Important:

Welcome to MiCLEAR

Getting Started

1. Visit www.michigan.gov/MiCLEAR.

2. Click on "Login to MiCLEAR."

Register for an Account in MiCLEAR

Step 1: Register

Click on "Register for an Account" in the upper right-hand corner.

Step 2: Login Info

1. Under Login Information, fill in ALL required fields before proceeding. These include:

  • Username
  • E-mail Address
  • Password
  • Type Password Again
  • Enter Security Question
  • Answer (to your security question)

2 . Then, if you agree to the terms of service, check the box next to “I agree to the terms of service”. Next, click “Continue”.

Step 3: Contact Type

1. Chose "Individual" or "Organization".

2. Select “Email” as the Preferred Channel.

3. Enter ALL your Contact Information in the fields provided. This includes:

  • E-Mail Address
  • Name of Business
  • FEIN
  • DBA/Trade Name
  • Primary Phone

Note: If you choose Individual, the required fields will include:

  • E-Mail Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Birth Date
  • Primary Phone

Step 3: Mailing Address

4. Enter ALL your Mailing Address information in the fields provided. This includes:

  • Start Date (Today’s Date)
  • Country/Region
  • Address (Number and Street)
  • City
  • State
  • Zip Code

5. Click “Submit”.

Account Successful

Congratulations! Your account has been created.

  • You should see a green banner confirming “Your account is successfully registered.”
  • An automated message will be forwarded to your email confirming account registration.
  • Please select Home, in the top left corner, then log in with the username/email and password you just created.
