Relicensure Information

- The full name of the Qualifying Officer.
- The phone number for the Qualifying Officer.
- The email address for the Qualifying Officer.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Must have a high school education or its equivalent.
- Must not be convicted of a felony.
- Must not have been convicted of an offense listed in MCL 338.826(1)(d).
- Must meet any of the following requirements listed in MCL 338.826(1)(d).

In order to consider an application complete and to avoid delay of processing, the following documents must be uploaded as part of the application:
- Submit a Professional Investigator Agency "Relicensure " Application in MiCLEAR by locating your LAPSED 10-digit license number that begins with "3701" under the "Licenses" tab, then clicking directly on the words "Additional Actions".
- Five reference statements pursuant to MCL 338.827(1). The form can be found here.
- Surety bond or certificate of insurance pursuant to MCL 338.829(1).
- Document showing the entity is active from Michigan’s Corporations Division (Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, etc.). Or, documentation from the County Clerk’s office where the principal office is located, showing the DBA has been registered.
- Entity Members Form pursuant to MCL 338.828(1). The form can be found here.
