License Renewal Information

  • Renewal Requirements

    In order to consider an application complete and to avoid delay of processing, the following documents must be uploaded as part of the application: 

    • Submit a “Transportation Network Company Renewal Application” in MiCLEAR.
    • Documentation showing the entity is active from Michigan’s Corporations Division (Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, etc.). Or, if sole proprietor, should submit documentation from the County Clerk’s office where the principal office is located, showing the DBA has been registered. 
    • Certificate of insurance pursuant to MCL 257.2123. A Michigan No-fault insurance policy does not meet the requirements of the act.

  • Late Renewal Period

    This registration does not have a late renewal period.

  • License Expiration

    Every year on August 31.
