Bridge Walk Community Kick Off Event
Everyone is welcome to participate! Every year thousands of people participate in the annual Mackinac Bridge Walk. in 2025, 33,000 people walked the bridge on Labor Day. This a training group, meeting once a month in Lansing group training walks and community building events, in preparation for walking the Mackinac Bridge together on Labor Day 2026.
You do NOT need to be a BSBP Client to participate but you MUST register!
Schedule
From February through June, we will meet on the second Saturday of the month from 11-2; we'll meet again in August for one last training session and to go over details for Labor Day. Training locations to be announced. Virtual check-ins and regional meetups are in the works, so if you have a strong interest in either, please email Rebecca Flatt at flattr1@michigan.gov
