Department of State suspends Warren repair facility for violations
WARREN – The Michigan Department of State has suspended the registration of Warren auto repair facility Danno Collision, 3639 E. Nine Mile Road, after the facility failed to comply with several requests by regulation agents to inspect facility records.
Department of State regulatory staff attempted to inspect records at Danno Collision on Feb. 25, March 18 and May 9, and the facility, owned by Vievian and Rami Danno, failed to provide the records each time. The suspension was served May 31 for “records not available for inspection during reasonable or established business hours.”
Repair facilities may request an administrative hearing to contest their suspension and may regain their facility registration if they show they’ve complied with the law. Additional administrative actions are also possible.
Consumers who have a complaint against Danno Collision are encouraged to call the Office of Investigative Services automotive complaint line at 517-335-1410.
