Two Detroit vehicle dealerships under summary suspensions close
DETROIT – Two vehicle dealerships, Rimo Auto Sales Inc. and Brietling Financial Auto Inc., have had their licenses suspended by the Department of State and are now closed.
Rimo Auto Sales Inc., also known as Luxury Auto Group, 15846 W. Warren Ave., and Brietling Financial Auto Inc., 7355 Greenfield Road, both owned by Mohamad El-Ghandour, were issued the suspensions Oct. 29 for failing to produce the necessary dealership records for inspection, as required by state law. After meeting with department staff, the dealer was unable to produce documentation and opted to close the businesses.
Consumers who have a complaint against Rimo Auto Sales or Brietling Financial Auto, or who have purchased a vehicle from them and have had problems obtaining the title, are encouraged to call the Office of Investigative Services automotive complaint line at 517-335-1410.
