The Board of State Canvassers regularly scheduled meeting on Aug. 14. 2026 is CANCELED.
A special meeting of the Board of State Canvassers has been scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026 at 10 a.m. in room 1100 of the Binsfield Office Building in Lansing.
After the polls closed today, Deputy Secretary of State Aghogho Edevbie thanked the thousands of election officials and poll workers for conducting a safe and secure Primary Election Day during a news conference in Detroit.
With less than 24 hours before the polls open on Election Day, 1,214,251 Michigan voters have already cast their ballot for the August 2026 Primary Election – a turnout rate of 16.5% of the state’s active registered voters.
