Wetland Mechanics
Discover the unique world of Michigan’s wetland habitat through an interactive virtual classroom visit! We’ll use images of wetlands, watershed models and more as we share the importance of wetlands. Key concepts presented in this program include:
- Identify characteristics common to a wetland habitat.
- Discuss watersheds and their importance.
- Identify representatives of species found in a marsh that affect the local habitat's biodiversity.
- Explain the dangers of invasive species to wetland habitat.
