Oil and Gas Lease Auction Held June 14, 2022:
A total of 12,560.47 acres of state-owned oil and gas rights were offered for lease. There were 8 successful bidders out of 8 registered. A total of 7,258.80 acres bid on are proposed to be leased within 10 counties. Of the total acres bid on, 5,228.12 acres are classified as development and 2,030.68 acres as nondevelopment. Net revenue generated at the auction was $123,789.28.
