Oil and Gas Lease Auction Held October 25, 2022:
A total of 4,834.62 acres of state-owned oil and gas rights were offered for lease. There were 5 successful bidders out of 5 registered. A total of 4,594.62 acres bid on are proposed to be leased within 5 counties. Of the total acres bid on, 753.76 acres are classified as development and 3,840.86 acres as nondevelopment. Net revenue generated at the auction was $58,085.36.
