eHarvest tag

The choice is yours — paper or digital

The voluntary use of electronic harvest tags brings Michigan further into the digital age of hunting licenses. Electronic options have become more common around the country, and several states have developed electronic tagging systems for turkeys.

When an electronic harvest tag is purchased, hunters must be able to show their turkey license and electronic harvest validation number on their mobile device. Upon harvesting a turkey and before the carcass is transported, hunters must immediately validate the electronic tag by selecting the appropriate information on their mobile device (cell signal not required).

If you buy in-store, you will receive your paper tag immediately. If you buy on our website, a paper tag will be mailed to you.

You must use the Hunt Fish mobile app to buy. Paper tags are not an option for fall turkey when purchasing in the app.
