Software Integration Resources

ATTENTION Athena clients only: Prior to October 28, 2025, your facility or office will need to complete a MAPS integration request for continued access, if not already completed following communications earlier this year from your EHR (Athena). To do so, please follow the steps below. If you are unsure if a request has already been submitted for your facility or office, or should you have any additional questions, please contact MAPS at BPL-MAPS@michigan.gov or at 517-241-0166.


MAPS Integration

  • EMPOWERING PRESCRIBERS AND DISPENSERS TO PREVENT OPIATE ABUSE

    The cost for integration of MAPS into an existing electronic medical records (EMR) and a pharmacy dispensation systems (PDS) has been extended through at least September 30, 2026.

    INTEGRATION PROCESS

    1.  Click Create an Account in the top right-hand corner of the page in the Customer Connect Portal.

    2.  Follow the on-screen prompts to gather the needed information for your integration request.

    3.  Within Customer Connect, you will be sent an email to e-sign the Terms and Conditions via HelloSign. 

    4.  Upon receipt of your completed request, Bamboo Health (formerly known as Appriss Health) will submit your request to the State for review and final approval.

    5.  Upon State approval, credentials will be sent to your primary point of contact and/or your EMR/EHR or Pharmacy System vendor, per your vendor's onboarding instructions.

    6.  A confirmation email will be sent to your primary point of contact, and then you will need to work with your vendor on next steps and completion of your integration.

     

    PLEASE NOTE:

  • Creating an account in Customer Connect is required to begin the integration process. 
  • Only authorized decision makers should complete the request and documents.
  • If your EMR/EHR or Pharmacy System software is not yet integrated, you will be notified via Customer Connect during the request process.
