Adam Sandoval is LARA’s deputy director and oversees the Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA), FOIA, the Michigan Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules (MOAHR), Michigan Indigent Defense Commission, Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC), and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC). Adam most recently served as a division director at MRA and prior to that served as deputy legal counsel in the governor’s office and as Office of Regulatory Reinvention director. He has previously held positions at MAHS as an administrative law judge, Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA) as an appeals coordinator, and the Wage and Hour Division as an investigator. Adam has also worked as an attorney in private practice. Adam graduated from Cooley Law School with his juris doctorate and from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree.
