Senate Legislation 2019-2020

Senate Bill 203 of 2019 - Amends the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act of 2016, PA 281, revises the definition of applicant for an operating license under the act and to also keep a recently enacted change to the application process for marihuana facilities licenses in order to streamline and simplify the process which went in to effect January 1, 2019 with the signing of SB 1262 of 2018.  The signing of SB 1262 was in effect until March 28, 2019.  During lame duck, HB 6380 (industrial hemp), due to the lack of a conflict substitute, inadvertently undid a change made via SB 1262.  Both SB 1262 and HB 6380 were signed on the same day.  SB 203 fixes the bill from last session.
