Bureau of Construction Codes-Training and Education Section

The Training and Education Section plans, directs, and coordinates bureau‑related training activities for staff, including publication of the bureau newsletter. Conducts training need assessments of local government code‑compliance programs and develops educational materials on the latest suite of state‑adopted building codes. The section also coordinates and delivers training and outreach programs to improve code knowledge and compliance among building inspectors, design professionals, and contractors, and evaluates the effectiveness of these programs in strengthening overall code compliance.
