This page is intended for individuals or organizations that have not been licensed in the last year. Determine the camp license appropriate for your organization by reviewing the definitions below. License issuance typically takes six to eight weeks but is contingent upon fire safety and environmental health certifications.-
Adult Foster Care Camp“Adult Foster Care Camp” or “adult camp” means an adult foster care facility with the approved capacity to receive more than 4 adults who shall be provided foster care. An adult foster care camp is a facility located in a natural or rural environment.”

Foster Care"Foster Care" means the provision of supervision, personal care, and protection in addition to room and board, for 24 hours a day, 5 or more days a week, and for 2 or more consecutive weeks for compensation provided at a single address.

Campsite“Campsite” means an outdoor setting that has natural or man-made features available for outdoor living or activities and is located where a camp is operated.
AFC Camp Original License
Applicants for an AFC camp original license shall complete the below application. The original AFC camp license is issued for six months. A renewal application must be submitted prior to the end of the six-month period for continued license status. License issuance typically takes six to eight weeks but is contingent upon fire safety and environmental health certifications.
